Are you passionate about advancing fire service training and quality assurance? The Ministry of the Solicitor General is seeking a dedicated Manager of Development & Quality Assurance to lead innovative projects and ensure the highest standards in educational programs and testing materials.
In response to a significant increase in courses and testing within the fire service, our department is restructuring to better meet the demands of our stakeholders. This newly created role will oversee the development and piloting of new training programs and testing materials, ensuring they meet industry standards and are effectively implemented across the province.
This is a dual role, reporting to the Municipal Council through the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The Fire Chief and CBO will administer, plan, direct and lead all aspects of the fire department including administration, fire education, fire prevention, fire suppression, leadership of employees and rescue activities of the department as authorized by the Regulating By-laws. This role will also enable The Municipality of Red Lake to carry out its mandate under the Building Code Act (BCA) by ensuring full compliance with the Act and by ensuring adherence to all other applicable laws including the comprehensive zoning by-law as they apply to building and structures.
