Since 2008, Ontario Fire Academy (OFA) has been preparing the next generation of firefighters in Ontario through comprehensive Pre-Service Firefighter Training Programs. 

OFA offers NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level 1 & 2 and NFPA 1072 Hazmat Awareness & Operations programs that are recognized by the Office of the Fire Marshal, Ontario (OFM). Upon successful completion of the program and OFM's examinations, have the opportunity to earn the OFM and IFSAC certifications, providing a strong foundation for launching a successful firefighting career.
 
OFA’s instructor team includes 30+ experienced firefighters representing over 14 different fire departments, who bring real-world experiences and the latest fire-service knowledge directly into OFA's classrooms for everyday training.
