One person was injured Tuesday morning after part of a foundation gave way at a rural home under renovation in Clearview Township.
Emergency crews were called to the area of County Road 42 and 3/4 Sideroad shortly after 8:25 a.m.
The Clearview Fire Department reported that a section of the foundation collapsed on one person.
Firefighters were able to extricate the victim, who was then transported to the local hospital by Simcoe County paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police told CTV News that they secured the scene following the rescue.
Clearview Fire Chief Scott Davison said his crews handled the extrication and confirmed the incident remains under investigation.
