Essex County OPP say a fire in Lakeshore is being treated as “suspicious.”
On April 28 at 2:37 a.m., OPP officers along with Lakeshore Fire Department were dispatched to a residential structure fire on North Rear Road.
The residence was empty and there were no injuries reported.
Police say the fire has been deemed suspicious.
The Essex County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation along with the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the surrounding area to review any available security or surveillance footage for suspicious activity around the time of the incident. Any relevant information may assist investigators.
