The Ontario Fire Marshal has been notified after a house fire in Oshawa.
It broke out on Quebec Street near Park Road South and Gibb Street around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Four people were rescued from the home and one of them was taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
At the height of the blaze, there were 21 firefighters on scene.
Fire officials have not commented on the cause of the fire.
