One person was injured following a house fire in the Elizabeth Gardens neighbourhood early this morning.
Two people were home at the Tamarac Drive home when fire broke out. Burlington Fire Department sent 21 firefighters to the scene along with eight trucks.
There was smoke showing on arrival.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire and remain on scene currently. There is an estimated $500,000 in damages.
The BFD said electrical failure appears to be the cause. The Ontario Fire Marshal has been contacted.
