Smoke billowed from the roof of Bateman Fine Cabinetry store in Oro-Medonte Township Wednesday evening.
In photos released by Oro-Medonte fire, dozens of firefighters could be seen working on a blaze occurring simultaneously at several Highway 11 businesses.
The fire at 2921 Highway 11 is home to a Canada Post office, North Country Floors, the Schnitzel Haus, Simcoe Angler Bait Shop and the LiquiGator store.
“Absolutely outstanding job at this all hands fire by crews to keep the fire mostly contained to the roof area,” said Oro-Medonte Fire Chief Roree Payment.
