Crews with the Kitchener Fire Department are now investigating an early morning fire at A Better Tent City.
It was around 5:28 on Friday morning when fire crews were called to the village of cabins in the Ardelt Avenue area.
While early details are limited, it’s believed that the fire started on the exterior of one of the units before spreading to nearby cabins.
Kitchener fire confirms that the damage was contained to three units, though one of those units is said to be a “full loss,” while the two remaining have substantial damage to both the structures and their contents.
No firefighters or residents were injured by the incident.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation as of Friday morning.
