Four units were on scene early Wednesday morning to battle a fire in the city’s northwest, fire services say.
Fire and emergency services say they responded to a call for a contents fire around 7 a.m. at a residence on Edge Hill Drive.
Barrie Fire and Emergency Services tell CTV News that the fire did not damage the structure of the home but burned the contents inside.
One person was examined by paramedics, but no injures were reported.
The scene has since been cleared, but the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
