A family of four has been displaced after a fire destroyed a home in the northern Ontario community of Alban, according to French River Fire Chief Roch Bigras.
The structure fire occurred off Highway 64. Bigras said the call came in around midnight on Friday, going into Saturday, March 14.
“A family of four displaced by the fire,” the fire chief said in a telephone interview with CTV News late Saturday afternoon.
No injuries were reported in the blaze. Fire crews responded to the scene, and everyone got out, but the house sustained extensive damage.
Bigras said the house is a complete loss.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
