Apr 29, 2026 CaledonEnterprise.com Caledon residents can meet with first responders and learn important safety tips during open houses being held at four local fire stations on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to noon. Community safety partners, including the Ontario Provincial Police and paramedics will be at the event to mark Emergency Preparedness Week, which runs May 3 to 9. Visit local fire stations and meet first responders Station 301 — 19630 Main St., Alton Station 302 — 14002 Hwy. 50, Bolton Station 307 — 2 Snelcrest Dr., Valleywood Station 308 — 6000 Hwy. 9, Mono Mills View the town’s fire station map to determine your closest station. In a Facebook post, the town encouraged the local community to stop by their nearest station to connect with emergency crews and prepare for the unexpected. To help residents stay equipped for any situation, there will be a prize draw for emergency kits during the event. “We’re giving away 72-hour emergency kits during our open houses on May 2,” the town stated in the post. Those who stop by a participating fire station between 9 a.m. and noon can chat with the fire, police and paramedic teams and submit a ballot for the prize draw. <back to Headlines
