It happened across from the LCBO on Coldwater Road, and it was reported by a bystander who was fueling their vehicle at a nearby gas station according to Severn Township’s fire chief.
Viewer footage supplied to CTV News shows active flames inside the home and firefighters working on the scene from both the interior and exterior.
Ritch Lowell, Severn Township’s fire chief, confirmed to CTV News that both occupants were evacuated and no injuries were sustained to civilians or emergency crews.
He added that the fire caused an estimated $300,000 in damage, making the home a total loss.
