No injuries are being reported after the Bracebridge Fire Department responded to a fire at a home on Southview Crescent yesterday (July 24).
Fire Chief Kevin Plested says Stations One and Two responded around 9 a.m. Plested says about 30 firefighters were dispatched to the home along with four fire apparatus and four support vehicles.
He adds upon arrival, firefighters observed a large amount of smoke coming from the structure.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. Plested adds the fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
The investigation is ongoing.
