The opening of the new Amherstburg fire hall has been delayed once again.
March was the initial opening, but now Chief Michael Mio says due to the cold and snow, it has been delayed.
The weather has stopped or delayed key points in the construction process, pushing the opening to the end of May.
It is costing $11.4 million to build the facility. Amherstburg is currently recruiting up to 10 volunteer firefighters. Applications will be accepted until Feb. 8.
