A house fire on Windsor’s east-end has killed eight cats and sent one woman to hospital with smoke inhalation, according to investigators with the city's fire department.
The Sunday noon-hour blaze broke out at a residence on Tecumseh Road — just west of Banwell Road.
In total, officials say four people were displaced because of the fire damage.
It’s believed it started in a living room and that a candle likely caused it.
