Firefighters spent most of the day Tuesday battling a blaze at a Crystal Beach restaurant after a fire broke out early in the morning.
At about 6 a.m., Fort Erie Fire and Emergency Services was called to Amalfi’s Trattoria & Bar at 3900 Erie Rd.
Firefighters were on the scene for the entire day to tackle the stubborn blaze. At about 6:45 p.m., Fire Chief Mark Schmitt said via text the fire was out.
He said the building is a complete loss, and an investigation into the fire will continue.
