The Middlesex Centre Fire Service is investigating a house fire on Amiens Road near Strathroy.
Fire crews said they responded to reports of a structure fire shortly after midnight Sunday morning.
“There were no injuries,” said Deputy Fire Chief Scott Roper. “The approximate value loss is around a million dollars.”
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
“It was a stubborn fire,” said Roper. “We probably had about 10 to 12 apparatuses on scene and about 35 firefighters at the height of it.”
