Hamilton police was called to help Hamilton Fire at an apartment on Barton Street Thursday morning, and are asking residents to stay clear.
They say that they received the call to assist firefighters at 7:15 a.m, at 2520 Barton St. East.
The Hamilton Fire Department Incidents Dashboard indicated alarm conditions at 7:22 a.m.
Hamilton Fire posted on X at around 8:30 a.m. that crews were operating at a multiple alarm fire at the location.
The post reads that Hamilton Fire Chief Dave Cunliffe will hold a press briefing at 9:30 a.m.
Officers have closed Barton Street from Lake Street to Covington while they investigate.
Fire crews say there are no injuries to report at this time.
