Ottawa firefighters say they responded to two separate instances of cars crashing into buildings on Thursday.
One vehicle was driven into a building n Richmond Road near Croydon Avenue at 10:37 a.m. Another was driven into a building on Windmill Lane near Innes Road at 1:19 p.m.
Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps said one person was treated and released at each scene.
In a statement to CTV News, a spokesperson for City of Ottawa said the fire service’s technical rescue team assessed the buildings and determined there was “no structural risk.” The scenes were turned over to Ottawa police.
