The Fire Prevention Officer will be responsible for comprehensive fire prevention including inspection of public and private buildings, enforcement of Codes and regulations, and providing public fire safety education.
Reporting To: Fire Chief
Under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Operations, the Platoon Chief will supervise and administer an assigned Platoon to ensure efficient and effective operations as well as execution of daily activities, and programs.
The ideal candidate will possess post-secondary education in Business, Public or Fire Administration, along with exceptional communication skills, leadership qualities, and proven ability in conflict resolution and critical and strategic thinking.
