Subway service on TTC’s Line 2 has resumed after it was closed due to a fire, disrupting the Tuesday morning commute.
Full service resumed around 8 a.m., according to the TTC.
Service was initially suspended between Broadview and Woodbine stations around 6:30 a.m., according to a service alert posted on social media.
Shuttle buses are operating between Broadview and Woodbine stations.
The TTC advised customers to use the GO Transit’s Scarborough and Danforth stations, which neighbour the TTC’s Kennedy and Main Street stations, for the price of a TTC fare.
The disruption was caused by a small fire at track level at the Donlands TTC station, according to Toronto fire services. The fire was put out without any injuries.
