Yesterday shortly before 8 p.m., Sault Ste. Marie Fire Service crews responded to a call of a residential garage fire in the 400 block of Chambers Avenue.
"Upon arrival, there was visible smoke and flames inside the attached garage. Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire," the fire department said in a news release.
After further investigation, the cause of the fire is "undetermined."
"There is minimal fire and significant smoke damage to the attached garage. There were no injuries to report," the release said.
