February 5, 2020 – OFM Inspection Order Template, English and French
Working closely with the Ontario Fire Marshal (OFM), the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) Fire Prevention and Public Education (FPPE) Committee helped to update, and simplify, a template that your fire department inspector can use when carrying out an inspection of land or premises under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act.

Due to provincial government legislation, the OFM is not permitted to post customizable templates on their websites, so they have asked that the OAFC host the following template for your department to use.  A locked version of the template can be found on the OFM’s website.  The OAFC encourages all departments to use this template going forward when your inspectors are conducting inspections.
