One person was trapped in a vehicle following a crash at the intersection of Bass Lake Side Road and Line 11 in Oro-Medonte.
On Monday shortly before 1:30 p.m., emergency crews from Oro-Medonte Fire, Simcoe County Paramedic Services and the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to the area.
When they arrived, firefighters determined that two vehicles were involved in the crash and one person was trapped and required removal. Crews completed the rescue, allowing paramedics to continue patient care.
Officials say two people were assessed and treated at the scene. Oro-Medonte’s Fire Chief Roree Payment said none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
It remains unclear what circumstances led to the crash.
