Highway 11 was closed in both directions on Tuesday morning between New Liskeard and Temagami.
Ontario Provincial Police said on social media that the road was closed “due to a vehicle fire involving a tractor-trailer” shortly before 5 a.m.
“No injuries reported at this time,” police said in the post.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
OPP said the road was fully reopened shortly before 9:40 a.m.
