London firefighters called to a two-vehicle crash in northwest London arrived at the scene to find one engulfed in flames on Wednesday night.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, London Fire Department officials posted to social media about the call to a crash on Sunningdale Road between Wonderland and Hyde Park roads, noting there were reports of people possibly trapped.
Fire officials say “one vehicle was found overturned in the ditch and fully involved in fire.” The occupants were all out of the vehicles, they added, and were taken to hospital “with unknown injuries.”
Sunningdale between Wonderland and Hyde Park was closed following the crash, fire officials said.
Thursday morning, London police said the driver of each of the two vehicles involved was taken to hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The investigation was ongoing, police said.
