A charred vehicle sits on the side of Lamont Drive and a strong smell of smoke wafts through the air on a rural road in Middlesex County Sunday morning.
Middlesex County OPP guard the scene as an active investigation has been underway since just after midnight Sunday morning.
A section of Lamont Drive is closed between Coldstream Road and Komoka Road for the investigation.
Middlesex County OPP are on scene.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and plan alternate routes in the meantime.
Police tell CTV News more information will be released at a later time.
