The Waterloo Fire Department and regional police responded to a residential fire on Monday morning.
According to Waterloo regional police, a fire at a home on Seawind Trail closed both ends of the road at Chesapeake Drive.
Police added that there was nobody inside the home at the time of the fire, and the neighbouring homes had also been evacuated as crews began fire suppression.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
The City of Waterloo confirmed that Seawind Trail reopened to traffic after 3 p.m. Monday as some fire crews remained in the area.
