Crews responded to reports of a large shed/barn fire at 4454 Highbury Ave. S., near Dingman Drive.
Fire crews said an excavator inside the structure was fully involved, and they could see heavy black smoke coming from the barn area.
Crews confirmed no occupants were inside the structure.
Firefighters had to establish tanker and water shuttle operations due to limited water supply.
The fire has been extinguished but crews remain on scene.
The public is asked to avoid the area and help keep first responder safe until all operations are complete.
