Toronto fire crews are battling a three-alarm house fire in the city’s West Queen West neighbourhood.
Toronto Fire Services (TFS) says a call came in around 8:48 p.m. for a large backyard fire in the area of Stafford Street and King Street West.
When they arrived, crews encountered smoke and flames and pursued a “rapid attack” on the fire, a TFS spokesperson told CP24.
The spokesperson says the fire appears to have spread to another house.
Firefighters have conducted primary searches and did not find anyone injured.
TTC buses have been requested to provide shelter for displaced residents.
The origin, cause and circumstances of the fire are unknown.
