Requirements:

Students are responsible for completing all requirements as noted in the course outline package prior to arrival. This includes bringing any textbooks, equipment, materials or clothing indicated for the course. Students that arrive unprepared or do not bring the required items will not be eligible to participate.

• IFSTA, Fire Investigator, 3rd Edition
• NFPA 1033 Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigators, 2022 Edition (or ability to access and review online)
• National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 921: Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigators, 2021 Edition (or ability to access and review online)
• Copy of delegated authority pursuant to s.6(6) for authority under s.14 of the Fire
• Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 (if applicable)
