IAFF PEER SUPPORT TRAINING

Sarnia Fire Rescue Services is offering IAFF Peer Support training October 12 and 13, 2023 with 7 seats remaining.

• Course is October 12 and 13, 08:00 to 16:00 each day in Sarnia.
• Members will need to register with their IAFF user name and password (additional registration information will be sent to the candidates/department that is accepted).
• A mandatory two-hour online behavior awareness course is a prerequisite to the two day course.
• Course cost will be covered by Sarnia Fire Rescue Services.
• Additional costs (travel, accommodations, meals, etc) will be covered by the home department.

This is a great opportunity for new departments interesting in implementing Peer Support or existing departments who have lost members through attrition, etc and want to bolster their numbers.
