The evening will also feature a keynote presentation by Battalion Chief Dena Ali of the Raleigh (NC) Fire Department. A respected fire service leader, author of the bestselling book Hope Out of Darkness: A Guide to First Responder Mental Wellness, and Program Manager of Behavioral Health for the First Responder Center for Excellence, Dena is a passionate advocate for firefighter mental health and resilient leadership. Her inspiring message will challenge and encourage attendees while reinforcing the importance of supporting ourselves and one another throughout our careers.
