The OAFC and Hicks Morley Labour Relations Seminar, January 22 - 24, 2025!

The Labour Relations Seminar (LRS) is an annual event held in cooperation with with Hicks Morley - the largest labour and employment firm in Canada dedicated to representing management in human resources law and advocacy.  Chief fire officers, senior municipal officials and human resource professionals will participate in sessions from Hicks Morley, Ontario chief fire officers, and renowned guest speakers who will provide insight and up-to-date knowledge and guidance on a wide range of labour relations issues that currently impacting the fire service.

In addition to the immeasurable learning experiences, attendees will have multiple networking opportunities to speak candidly with their colleagues and with the Hicks Morley team. The Labour Relations Seminar is the only event of its kind in Canada. Nowhere else will you receive this much detailed, relevant content, for such a nominal fee.

The member rate will be extended to municipal staff who have an employee (chief fire officer) that is a member of the OAFC, out of province guests and OMHRA members may also take advantage of the member rate.  The Labour Relations Seminar and the Pre-Seminar Workshops are restricted to non-union members of municipal council, senior municipal management officials and chief fire officers.
