Leading in the fire service presents unique challenges. Leaders must balance the trust and camaraderie essential to a strong culture with the challenges of leading effectively. This course will equip leaders in the fire service with the knowledge and skills to conquer workplace challenges and drive positive change.
About the program
This course is geared to current and aspiring leaders in the fire service including Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs, Platoon Chiefs and District Chiefs.

This is a practical and interactive program. The format includes large and small group discussions, quizzes, case studies, and other skill-building exercises. Participants will receive a comprehensive set of handouts including reference materials, guidelines, and checklists. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program.
The program will be delivered in 8 modules of 2-2.5 hours each. These are scheduled across 4 days with one module in the morning and one module in the afternoon each day. This enables participants to fit the program within a busy work schedule.
