About

Year after year, the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) Conference and Trade Show has proven that it is the must-attend event for fire and emergency services in Canada!

The OAFC Trade Show is integral to the conference, allowing equipment and service providers to connect with all levels of fire service personnel in Ontario's $1-billion fire and emergency services market.  It continues to be one of the highest rated components of our annual event.  According to a 2019 delegate survey, 95% of responses indicated that next to the educational component, the Trade Show is one of the most important elements of the conference.

The OAFC Trade Show is the largest and most successful gathering of fire service manufacturers and suppliers in Canada, offering trade show attendee’s direct access to your sales team to maximize product exposure and corporate visibility.

Exhibiting at the OAFC Trade Show helps you elevate your brand's profile, provides invaluable networking opportunities, obtain important leads,  and generate sales to fire departments who use this. Don’t miss your opportunity to exhibit at the premiere marketplace in Canada for fire and emergency services!

Insurance and Safety

While every precaution is taken to safeguard exhibits, Show Management and The International Centre do not assume responsibility for the safety of exhibits against robbery, fire, damage, accidents or any cause whatsoever, whether during move in, show time or move out periods.  In all cases, exhibitors must insure their goods and exhibits against such losses.  Entry into storage and loading areas is at the exhibitor’s risk.

Exhibitors are asked to contact the Show Office IMMEDIATELY if losses are experienced, so that an investigation can be conducted.

The International Centre and the Association are not responsible for the protection or security of exhibits, merchandise, or personnel against robbery, theft, damage by fire, damage by water, accident or any other cause.  In all cases, exhibitors should provide their own insurance.

UNAUTHORIZED SOLICITATION WARNING REGARDING HOTEL/HOUSING FOR OAFC 2020.

The OAFC has experienced ongoing, unauthorized hotel reservation service providers contacting a number of companies exhibiting at OAFC 2020, using our name and referencing our trade show.  We have not authorized any company to solicit reservations on our behalf.  No other service provider is representing the OAFC, nor has the OAFC authorized them to use your name or our name/trademarks on information they send out to exhibitors. Do not respond to calls from reservation companies or anyone claiming to be from the hotel.

The following list are unauthorized providers that we are currently aware of. (Please note there may be additional companies of which we are not aware.) If you are contacted by one of the companies listed below that are offering hotel reservation services for OAFC 2020, we urge you to proceed with extreme caution before signing agreements issued by these organizations or others soliciting the same “deals.”

OAFC 2020 Evening Functions

OAFC 2020 offers two evening functions promoting social opportunities, raising funds for a great cause and networking with your industry colleagues.   All evening functions are conveniently located at the conference venue, the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport, 970 Dixon Road, and are open to all attendees, sponsors and exhibitors.

Networking "FUN" Raising Night
Friday, May 1, from 8pm to 12am
Trillium Ballroom, The Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport & Conference Centre

Conference guests and trade show vendors come together for a fun night of networking and fundraising at this complimentary event.

In 2019, Ontario’s chief fire officers and our title sponsors, A.J. Stone and SafeTek, represented by the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs presented a cheque for $10,000 each to Camp BUCKO, The Ontario Fire Service Pipes and Drums & Working Minds, on June 14, 2019.  The funds were raised through the Networking FUN Raising Night which was sponsored by fire industry leaders A.J. Stone Co. Ltd and Safetek.

The impressive donation is thanks in large part to the contributions and efforts of the OAFC charity night sponsors, A.J. Stone Co. Ltd and Safetek Emergency Vehicles.  These two organizations covered the all evening costs, which allowed us to host an engaging fundraising event, complete with raffle prizes, silent auction and games to garner generous donations from those in attendance.  In addition, they sold t-shirts in which all proceeds went directly to each charity.

The OAFC also recognizes the efforts of the following companies who contributed to the event’s “FUN” raising efforts:

Fort Garry Fire Trucks (Vacation prize sponsor), Royal Roads University, AON, Sugu Canada, FESTI, Korth Group, Unisync, First Tactical, Carrier Centers, KLE Distribution, Mitsubishi, Geroline, Starfield Lion, Fire Hall Bookstore, Panasonic, ULC and Safe Design
2020 will be bigger and better!  Help us raise more money than ever for worthy fire service related organizations/charities by sponsoring, donating and attending the event.

If you are interested in supporting this event, please contact kris.newton@oafc.on.ca or, for more information call 905-426-9865 x224.
