OAFC 2020 - Exhibitors

OAFC 2020 Trade Show May 1 & 2, Halls 2,3 & 4

The International Centre, 6900 Airport Rd, Mississauga, Ontario

About

Year after year, the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) Conference and Trade Show has proven that it is the must-attend event for fire and emergency services in Canada!  Exhibiting at the OAFC Trade Show helps you elevate your brand's profile, invaluable networking opportunities, obtain important leads and generate sales to fire departments that lead over 30,000 firefighters who use this equipment every day.

The OAFC Trade Show is integral to the conference, allowing equipment and service providers to connect with all levels of fire service personnel in Ontario's $1-billion fire and emergency services market.  It continues to be one of the highest rated components of our annual event.  According to a 2018 delegate survey, 95% of responses indicated that next to the educational component, the Trade Show is one of the most important elements of the Conference.

The OAFC Trade Show is the largest and most successful gathering of fire service manufacturers and suppliers in Canada, offering trade show attendee’s direct access to your sales team to maximize product exposure and corporate visibility.  Don’t miss your opportunity to exhibit at the premiere marketplace in Canada for fire and emergency services!

2020 show information and what's new

The OAFC 2020 Trade Show will be held in Halls 2, 3 & 4 of the International Centre, 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2019.  Halls 3 & 4 offer high ceilings, allowing exhibitors to fully show off their aerials.

Trade Show cafe:  The Trade Show café is moving!  To better serve all attendees and exhibitors, the café will be moving to Hall 4 in 2019. In addition, better seating and a wide variety of food options will be available for the 2020 show.

New conference venue:  Exhibitors and attendees spoke, and we listened! Our conference sessions will now be held in the conference centre at The International Centre.  Our conference and Trade Show will once again be in one location!

Increased signage:  The 2020 show will highlight enhanced signage to ensure attendees can find booths and the cafe more easily.

New conference hotel:  Accommodations for attendees and exhibitors, and the evening functions of the event, will now be held at the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport at 970 Dixon Road, Toronto, ON.  The Holiday Inn is just 4km away, a 6-minute drive from the International Centre.  We will be increasing our shuttle service from the Holiday Inn to the International Centre to ensure guests have easy access to both venues.

Returning features:  Many new features were implemented for the 2019 show based on comments, requests and suggestions received through evaluations and from the Vendor’s Meeting.  We are happy to report they were all well received, and will continue for the 2019 show:

  • Booth packages/options will be structured the same as last year.
  • Opportunity for outdoor demo space
  • Café vouchers
  • Water stations will be available on the show floor

Conference guests and trade show vendors came together for a fun night of networking and fundraising at this complimentary event.  In 2018 together with our sponsors, vendors and delegates, we raised over $50,000 for the Canadian Fallen Fire Fighters Association.

There are many organizations that can use our help to raise funds for their worthy causes.  This year we raised funds for three very notable causes.  Donations will be divided, with each receiving a third of all proceeds from this event.

  • Camp Bucko: (Burn Camp for Kids in Ontario) is a camp open to burn survivors between the ages of 7-17.  There is no fee to attend Camp BUCKO. They are a registered charity providing the program through generous donations from firefighters associations, service groups, and other public and private organizations. A Board of volunteers from across Ontario plans for camp all year. With the donations we receive we are able to fully fund each child’s stay at camp, their transportation and provide them with souvenirs from camp, otherwise known as “swag”.
  • Ontario Fire Services Pipes and Drums:  The Ontario Fire Service Pipes and Drums is one of the first pipe and drums corps for the Ontario fire service. Their longstanding service to the OAFC and the fire service is extremely valuable.  We want to ensure that they continue to be able to travel and play at our fire service events.
  • The Working Minds First Responders:  As many know, this mental health resiliency program is extremely important, and valuable for the fire service.  Proceeds will go to fully fund as many programs as we can offer.

The OAFC Memorial Service is an annual event held to honour the chief officers who have passed away since our last conference.  It is an extremely moving service. The service had many special guests in attendance. This year's service included the Niagara Falls Honour Guard, the Ontario Fire Service Pipes and Drums and Harbourtown Sound choir. This is our most revered, and well attended event of the year.  The service was conducted by the Niagara Regional Fire Chiefs Association.  We are extremely grateful for their continued support.
