The residents of two mobile homes in Millhaven are safe after a fire engulfed one and burned another Tuesday morning.
Fire crews were called to the SunPark Communities park at 5569 Bath Rd. just before 9 a.m. for the fire.
“On arrival, crews advised we had one mobile home fully involved and the adjacent mobile home was starting to catch fire as well,” Loyalist Township fire Chief Fred Stephenson said.
The fire is still being investigated, but Stephenson said the fire is believed to be accidental.
Highway 33 was closed to traffic as crews initially battled the flames, but it has since reopened.
