Elm Street fully reopened as early morning fire deemed suspicious
Greater Sudbury Police have reopened Elm Street in both directions.

An early morning fire saw the roadway closed to allow Greater Sudbury Fire Services to battle the blaze. 

Early indications suggest the cause of the structure fire to be suspicious, GSPS said in a tweet this morning, indicating the Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to help with the investigation.

Elm Street in downtown Sudbury is closed between Lorne and Alder streets due to an early-morning fire, according to a tweet from Greater Sudbury Police.

Police ask that people take alternative routes.

Greater Sudbury Fire Services crews are active in the area, said Deputy Fire Chief Jesse Oshell in a tweet.
