Fire Chief Sam Taylor retired on March 31, 2021 from the Aylmer Fire Department after a successful 35-year career in the Fire Service. He began his career in 1986 as a Volunteer Firefighter in Port Burwell, later serving the Municipality of Bayham as Fire Chief until 2005 when he joined the Aylmer Fire Department as their first full-time Fire Chief.
