Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) Fire and Life Safety Advocacy Day
Wednesday May 6, 2026
Registration will open in January 2026.
What is an Advocacy Day?
An Advocacy Day is an effective and an efficient tool in developing and furthering the relationship between the fire service industry and Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP) from all political parties. It is an opportunity for chief fire officers from across Ontario to come together as one voice to share our vision of fire and life safety.
As a Chief what will you be required to do?
You will be required to attend at least one of the Queen's Park Advocacy Virtual Training sessions prior to the event. The dates and times for the virtual training sessions are April 22 10:00am to 11:00am EST and April 23 2:00pm to 3:00pm EST. On the day of Queen's Park Advocacy Day you are required to be at Queen's Park for 8:00am EST and will be assigned meetings to attend throughout the day. We ask that all attendees also stay for the reception that takes place at the end of the day.
