TAPP-C WORKSHOP

TAPP-C is a community-based, collaborative program that involves Ontario fire services and mental health professionals working together to eliminate dangerous fire-setting behaviours by children and teens. Fire service professionals provide children, teens, and their families with home fire safety checks and fire safety education, while mental health professionals conduct risk assessments and provide treatment within a mental health framework.

This two-day workshop will provide students with the knowledge and skills required to conduct TAPP-C fire safety education sessions. This workshop is not accredited to NFPA 1035, Juvenile Fire-setter Intervention Specialist.

All required textbooks and pre-class materials are the responsibility of the student
