It is with great sadness that we share the news of the loss of Fire Chief
Bill Lawrence of the Prescott Fire Department.

Bill passed away in his home on Friday night, after courageously fighting
his battle with cancer.

Bill served proudly on the department for 38 years, 24 of which were as Fire
Chief.

In keeping with the families' wishes there will not be a wake, but rather a
service to celebrate his life, complete with a Fire Department honour guard
to be held on:

Wednesday March 10th beginning at 13:30 hours.

The service will be at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, #425 Center St.
Prescott.

Any fire service personnel who wish to participate are asked to attend the
Prescott Fire Hall NO LATER then 12:30 p.m on Wednesday for assembly and
marching instructions.

All are invited to attend to pay tribute to Bill, and respects to his family
during this very difficult time.
